   It answers the first question I heard asked of you on the Fourth of July, “How do you get paid?” I’ll bet you remember the question, your answer was really kind of lame.

   I ordered your book, but I am using a book called You Can Make The Difference, which gives details on how to run a ground roots campaign. The book is over 40 years old and can be found on Amazon. I will be using it to train 912 members.

   As I mentioned in a previous email, I was Reagan’s campaign coordinator in 1976 and helped organize the northen half of our state in 1976.

   Monte – I am purchasing your booklet. It looks like it will be valuable to me. But wanted to pass on one thought. looking over the outline on this page it seems to be missing one chapter. How to get all of the voters connected. America is disconnected. a lot of us live in our homes and don’t even know all the people on our own block. I was appointed a precinct captain by the local Republican org. I did not ask for it but I am taking it to the next level. I have started regular precinct meetings for people to gather, meet each other, hear speakers, set up Neighborhood Watch, etc. I will have someone develop a simple website/community board (with password) (a lot like the ning site) so that the residents can access links to websites for candidates, local city council, other representatives, with an announcements section for – births,weddings, skills offered- ie carpentry, stuff like that.

   Dave V – I can’t remember my exact response (though I’m sure you were right, it was lame). Please refresh my memory…

   Dave R – Great, I’m glad you have that as a resource. I wonder if it is still available. One can never have too much information or perspectives. Let me know if you find any gems in my book that were not in the one you purchased way back when.

   P. Smith – There’s no need to have a PayPal account to make a purchase. Just select the credit card payment option and voila, your done!

   Lee S – While I didn’t mention it in the outline, I’ve included sections on holding “Crucial Conversations” with your family, friends, neighbors and associates to spread the word and ignite the base. I also have a section on holding Town Hall Forums as a way to bring people together and begin the process of organizing neighborhoods and precincts.
